Brandon M. Hexham BA, RRO, GRP

Brandon M. Hexham, BA, RRO, GRP completed his BA at York University in 2000 and earned his Business Management certification from Centennial College in 2002.

Site Inspector

Brandon has worked with Pinnacle Group Inc. since 1997.  While attending York University, he started with the company as an on-site inspector, reviewing air barrier and roofing applications.

Specification Writer

Following this, he moved on to become a specification writer, creating specifications and CAD details and reviewing shop drawings and plans.


Brandon then became an investigator. In this role, where he conducted building inspections and audits and roofing assembly analysis and identified building envelope deficiencies.

He furthered his extensive knowledge of roofing techniques, products, sales, and marketing by regularly attending educational courses and seminars, as well as on-site training and problem solving.

Vice President

Brandon held the position of vice president of the company, handling new and existing clients, while remaining hands-on regarding jobsites and work in progress.


Brandon officially took over as President of Pinnacle in 2014, with the retirement of his father, Graydon. Braydon currently oversees all operations of the company.


Brandon gives professional presentations and has published technical articles in several magazines.


Brandon is a professional affiliate member of RCI, Inc. and he obtained his RRO designation in 2002.

In 2004, Brandon held the position of secretary for RCI, Inc.’s Ontario Chapter.  He then moved up to vice president (in 2005) and then president (in 2006).  He remained on the board as past president in 2007 and completed his term as Region 5 director. As Region 5 director, Brandon was responsible for all of Canadian RCI, Inc.’s activity and was committed to strengthening the regional chapters, increasing the number of chapters and increasing membership.



Graydon L. Hexham BA, RRO (Past President)

Graydon L. Hexham BA, RRO, is internationally recognized for his expertise in the fields of roofing and building envelope consulting and his over 40 years’ experience in this industry is unsurpassed.

Roofing Contractor

After completing a BA at York University in 1973, Graydon worked for an industrial roofing contractor throughout Ontario and Quebec. He began by working with the roofing crew and progressed to estimating and managing the company. During this time, Graydon was frequently employed as an expert consultant to train roofers in the United States.

Sales Manager

Graydon has been the sales manager for two roofing materials manufacturers: Globe/Weather Coating (purchased by Bakor) and Soprema. In both positions, he acquired substantial unique knowledge about materials and their production.

Roofing Consultant

After leaving Soprema, Graydon was part of the startup group of Garland Canada, whose primary competition was Tremco. This experience helped him to further develop and hone his report and specification writing skills.

As president, he has completed thousands of successful projects across Canada. The wealth of knowledge and understanding of the industry he gained as a contractor, a materials manufacturer sales manager and as a consultant has provided unparalleled expertise for his clients.

Graydon has travelled across North America researching materials and systems, evaluating roofing material production plants and upgrading his knowledge with roofing courses and seminars.


Graydon has taught the visual inspection course for RCI, Inc., presents courses to his clients, gives professional presentations and has published technical articles in several magazines.

RCI, Inc.

Graydon is a professional member of RCI, Inc., a large North American roofing and building envelope consulting organization dedicated to educating and advancing the industry.

He obtained his RRO (Registered Roof Observer) designation in 2002, which is an elite designation given only to the best in the business, having completed a lengthy application and passing an eight hour, two-part technical exam. The exam focuses on correct roofing practices, proper techniques and appropriate materials.

Graydon has served on RCI, Inc.’s technical committee and newsletter committee, and has been a director, the vice president and the Ontario Chapter president, as well as the past Region 8 director, the highest position attainable in Canada, responsible for all Canadian activities.
